1 minute's walk. The inn is directly in front of the Shirahama Bus Center rotary, with excellent access to the sights. Adventure World is about 10 minutes away by car.
How do I get there from Nanki-Shirahama Airport?
About 15 minutes by Meiko bus from Nanki-Shirahama Airport (the town loop bus via Shin-Yuzaki and Sandanbeki), right by the Shirahama Bus Center stop. A morning shuttle bus also runs from the airport to the inn (booking essential; first departure 8:41, second 10:11). Apply at the front desk daily between 7:00 and 9:30 or 19:00 and 22:00 Japan time.

What room types are there?
All rooms are Japanese style, ranging from good-value rooms to the high-grade Wa-tei. Wa-tei rooms look out on Shirarahama or Engetsuto, and the special rooms have Italian sofas and panoramic glass windows.

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
It is a sodium and magnesium chloride spring. The water is mellow with a high salt content and keeps you warm after bathing. It is said to help with chronic rheumatoid arthritis, chronic muscular rheumatism, neuralgia, neuritis, diabetes and chronic gynaecological complaints.
What bathing facilities are there?
There are six baths using two different sources: the large baths Iso-no-Ka (men) and Shio-no-Ka (women), the medium bath Suzushi-yu, and the rooftop open-air bath Tenku reserved for guests of the Wa-tei wing. The open-air baths are fed continuously from the source; the large and medium baths are recirculated.
What is the Wa-tei open-air bath Tenku?
It is a rooftop open-air bath with a view, reserved for guests of the Wa-tei high-grade wing, offering a panorama of either Shirarahama beach or Engetsuto island. It cannot be used by guests in the standard rooms.
Do you take part in the Nanki Shirahama bath tour?
Yes, we are a participating property. The bath tour runs 15:00-22:00. Some periods may be excluded, so please check the official website or ask the front desk.

Depending on the plan you can choose between kaiseki cuisine centred on fresh seafood from Kishu and a buffet (Japanese, Western and Chinese) with dishes cooked to order at the open kitchen. Breakfast is normally a buffet.
