How do I get there from JR Oboke Station?
Take the Shikoku Kotsu bus for Kazurabashi from JR Oboke Station, about 15 minutes, and the inn is right by the Hikyo-no-Yu stop. By car it is about 15 minutes from Oboke Station.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 15:00 and check-out is 10:00. If you will arrive after 18:00, please be sure to contact us. Note that without contact by 15:00 on the day, the booking is treated as a no-show.

The famous Kazurabashi vine bridge of Iya is about 5 minutes away by car, so the inn makes an ideal base for visiting a bridge chosen among the world's ten finest pedestrian suspension bridges.

Can I bathe without staying overnight?
Yes, day bathing is available at 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children. Bathing hours are 15:00-23:00 and 6:00-8:00 in the morning. On Tuesdays (the following day when Tuesday is a public holiday) and on 1 January, the bathing hall opens at 17:00.

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
It is an alkaline simple spring (a hydrogen carbonate spring), known as a beauty bath that stimulates the skin's renewal. It wraps the skin gently and eases the tiredness of daily life.
What kinds of bath are there?
There is a fully glazed bathing hall, an open-air bath and a sauna. The bathing hall looks down over the old-growth forest of the Iya valley, so you bathe amid magnificent scenery. From the open-air bath you can see the Iya valley, one of the three most remote regions of Japan.

Can I choose my dinner time?
Yes, please tell us your preferred dinner time at check-in. Letting us know in advance helps us arrange things more smoothly.
What is the food like?
We serve local dishes using the rich produce of Tokushima: river fish such as sweetfish and amago from the clear stream nearby, Awa beef, Awa Kintoki pork and Awa-odori chicken. Shikoku sake and Iya soba are also popular.
Do I need to tell you about a buckwheat allergy?
Yes, guests with a buckwheat allergy must contact us in advance. Iya soba is a signature local ingredient, so please let us know when booking if you need us to adapt the meal.
