How do I get here from Hakata or Fukuoka city?
About 5 minutes from Hariki IC on the Oita Expressway. By public transport, take a taxi from JR Chikugo Yoshii Station for about 10 minutes, or take the highway bus to the Hariki stop and contact the inn for pickup.

This is a small, intimate inn with only 7 rooms. We offer attentive hospitality characteristic of a small-scale ryokan, where you can relax in a homey atmosphere.

Can I use the hot spring for day trips?
Day-use hot spring bathing is available. Day-use hours are 12:00–19:00. Rates are ¥700 for adults and ¥400 for children. Private bath rentals are available from ¥2,000–¥2,500 per 50 minutes (tax included).

Yes, from the on-site private spring, 100% fresh spring water is delivered continuously at an abundant flow rate of 563 liters per minute. You can enjoy fresh hot spring water without added water or heating in both indoor baths and private baths.
What is the quality of the hot spring water?
We provide 100% source water from our on-site spring in two types: alkaline simple spring (pH 8.5 or higher) and sulfur spring. With an abundant flow of 563 liters per minute, you can enjoy authentic hot spring atmosphere with floating hot spring minerals.
What types of private baths do you have?
We have 3 private family baths with distinct characters: a cave bath, a cauldron bath, and a cypress bath. Along with separate men's and women's indoor and open-air baths, you can enjoy a variety of different baths.

What tourist spots are nearby?
You can enjoy the four seasons along the Chikugo River, cherry blossoms and rapeseed flowers in spring, cormorant fishing in summer, and autumn foliage and fruit picking in fall. Fruit farms in the Asakura and Ukiha areas and the historic site of Akizuki are also nearby, making this a convenient base for sightseeing.

We offer seasonal kaiseki cuisine prepared carefully by hand, one dish at a time. We serve dishes made with live seafood and local cuisine that are a pleasure to see. Guests staying in our renovated hot spring-fed Japanese-Western rooms are served dinner in a private room.
