What is the hot spring's mineral composition and skin benefits?
It is a sulfur spring rich in "metasilicic acid," a skin-beautifying component, and "metaboric acid," which has bactericidal properties. In addition to skin-beautifying effects, it offers cleansing benefits, with a characteristic velvety texture that clings softly to the skin. You can enjoy the blessings of Naruko hot spring, which is said to have the most diverse mineral compositions in the world.
What types of hot spring baths do you have?
With three natural springs, we offer the large public bath "Bashō no Yu," the cypress public bath "Tama no Yu," the private large bath "Kokeshi no Yu," an open-air bath with blue slate tiles, a hinoki (Japanese cypress) wooden tub open-air bath, a sitting bath, and Bashō no Yu open-air bath. The water changes color mysteriously—from transparent to greenish-transparent, milky white, and warbler-colored—depending on air and humidity. All are natural hot spring source water flowing directly.
