What walking courses are available?
We have several courses: a 30-minute round-trip, a course around the Nyuto hot spring area taking about 1 hour, and a 2-hour course. In winter, you can walk through fresh snow with snowshoes. We also have trekking routes to Akita Komagatake (about 4 hours one way) and Nyuto Mountain (about 3 hours one way).

Is there a campground?
The "Nyuto Campground" is located about 1.5 km from the main building (approximately 5 minutes by car). It has fixed tent sites, auto sites, RV sites (some with AC power), and free sites. The season runs from July to mid-October each year. We also offer hands-free camping plans.

Is the facility wheelchair accessible?
The facility is partially wheelchair accessible, with an entrance ramp, wheelchair-accessible elevator, and handrails on stairs and corridors. We have wheelchairs available for rent and staff will assist you. Service dogs are also welcome (free accommodation in guest rooms and access to all facilities).

Are there activity programs for children?
We offer experience programs that children can enjoy, such as paper cutting and craft activities. We also have nature-themed tours with guides and snowshoe experiences in winter. Children's equipment rental is available.

What types and capacities of rooms are available?
We have 38 rooms total: Japanese-style 8-tatami rooms (3 guests, 14 non-smoking), Japanese-style 10-tatami rooms (5 guests, 9 non-smoking), Western-style rooms (2 guests, 10 non-smoking), Western-style rooms with private bath (2 guests, 3 guests max with extra bed, 3 non-smoking), and Japanese-style twin rooms (2 guests, 2 rooms).

What is the spring water quality like? Can I use the bath for day-use?
We have two types of natural hot springs with different mineral compositions and temperatures, both with source-fed water. You can enjoy both indoor and outdoor baths. Day-use bathing is available without advance reservation.
Can we visit other hot springs in the Nyuto area?
A shuttle bus called "Yumeguri-gō" circulates between 7 lodgings in the Nyuto hot spring area. Guests can purchase a "Yumeguri Chō" (hot spring passport) for 2,500 yen to ride the bus. No reservation needed—just wait at each bus stop.

What are the meal options and dining hours?
Both dinner and breakfast are buffet style, featuring local Akita cuisine including regional hot pots, which change daily. Breakfast 7:00–9:00 (last entry 8:30), lunch 12:00–13:30 (weekdays) / 11:30–13:30 (weekends and holidays), dinner 17:30–20:30 (last entry 19:30).

Yes, we have coin laundry machines in the facility.
What are the opening hours for the shop and tea lounge?
The shop is open 7:00–21:00. The tea lounge is open 10:00–15:00 (soft serve ice cream for guests only until 17:00). We offer local Akita specialities including kiritanpo nabe, iburi gakko smoked pickles, and local sake, as well as our popular original Akita Dog soft serve ice cream.
