How do I get there from Oga Station?
A free shuttle bus runs from JR Oga Station (booking required at least 2 days ahead). The pick-up leaves Oga Station at 14:45 and reaches the hotel about 15:10; the return leaves the hotel at 10:00 and reaches Oga Station about 10:30. By local bus, take the Akita Chuo bus (Oga Kita line) from JR Hadachi Station, about 45 minutes, and alight right at Seiko Grand H-mae.
Is there anything to watch out for in winter?
Roads freeze in winter, so if you come by car please fit snow tyres or carry chains. You may also want to consider public transport or the shuttle bus.

Every room faces the sea. As well as Japanese-style and Japanese-Western rooms there are spacious rooms for groups, luxurious Japanese-modern Western rooms and economical rooms, so you can choose to suit your stay. There are 69 rooms in total (renovated in April 2025).

Tell me about the hot spring and bathing hall.
We have one of the largest bathing halls in the Oga Onsen hot spring area, fed straight from the source without recirculation. The open-air bath looks out over the scenery of the season. Oga Onsen holds moisture well and is also known as the heat bath.
Can I visit the baths at the sister hotels?
The bath-hopping service with our sister hotels (Oga Kanko Hotel and Oga Hotel) is well received, and is recommended if you want to try the baths at several inns in the Oga Onsen area.
Is there a sauna?
There is a sauna room, to enjoy along with the hot spring bathing hall.

What is the food like?
Dinner is a Japanese course built mainly on seasonal seafood. Sake tastings and an Akita local sake service are also well received. Breakfast is mainly Japanese.
