How do I get there from JR Nasushiobara Station?
We run a free shuttle bus from the West Exit of JR Nasushiobara Station (booking essential). The journey takes about 40 minutes. Departures include 10:40, 13:35 and 15:50. By car it is about 20 minutes from Nasu IC on the Tohoku Expressway, along the Nasu Kaido towards Yumoto.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Standard check-in is 14:30-18:00 and check-out is 10:00. Times may differ depending on the plan. If you will arrive after 18:00, please contact the hotel in advance.

Is the main building currently open?
The main building and Fukuro no Mori are currently closed for renovation. Work is under way with a grand opening targeted for 2026. During the work some facilities (restaurants, the communal bath and the shop) are unavailable. We ask for your understanding.

What are the hot spring and bathing facilities?
You can enjoy a variety of baths, including an open-air bath fed directly from the source, a large cypress communal bath, and a health bath using hokutolite, a stone containing natural radium. Each of the several accommodation buildings, all different in character, has its own hot spring facilities.

What types of accommodation buildings are there?
There are several buildings of differing character, with 298 rooms in total, including hotel-type rooms, cottages and a building with rooms that have their own open-air bath. Your room will be explained at check-in. Please note that some buildings (the main building and Fukuro no Mori) are currently closed for renovation.

What style are the meals?
Three buffet venues serve a wide range of dishes using produce from Tochigi Prefecture and the Nasu highlands. Both dinner and breakfast are normally buffet style (the venue is explained at check-in on the day).
