How do I get there by train or bus?
Take the JR Oga Line from JR Akita Station to Hadachi Station, about 55 minutes, then the bus (for Toga, Kamo or Nyudozaki) about 45 minutes, alight at Oga Kanko Hotel-mae and walk about 1 minute. From Akita Airport, allow about 2 hours via Akita Station.

What sights are there nearby?
There is plenty that is distinctive to Oga: the Namahage Museum, the Oga Shinzan Folklore Museum, Oga Aquarium GAO, Nyudozaki, Godzilla Rock and the Akagami Shrine Goshado. We also offer accommodation plans including a GAO admission ticket.

What is the view from the rooms?
The rooms face the sea, and on a clear day you can see as far as the Shirakami Sanchi World Heritage area on the border with Aomori. There are also plans guaranteeing a room on the fifth floor or above.

What is the bathing hall Manten no Yu like?
Manten no Yu, the bathing hall with a view 25 m above the ground and a sweeping outlook over the nature of Oga, is the facility we are proudest of. There is also the restful open-air bath Jukai no Yu surrounded by trees, so you can enjoy hot spring water fed straight from the source in two different settings.

Is there a free shuttle bus?
A free shuttle bus runs from JR Oga Station. The pick-up leaves Oga Station at 14:45 and reaches the hotel about 15:10; the return leaves the hotel at 10:00 and reaches Oga Station about 10:30. Booking is required at least 2 days in advance, so please contact us beforehand.

We have plans featuring the Oga speciality ishiyaki, cooked with hot stones, and steak of Akita Nishiki beef from Akita black wagyu stock. We offer many traditional dishes born of the land of Oga and Akita.

There are private dining rooms where families and groups can eat in comfort (available on some plans). Meals in the Ajisai restaurant are also available.

How do I get there?
About 45 minutes by bus (for Toga, Kamo or Nyudozaki) from Hadachi Station on the JR Oga Line, alighting at Oga Kanko Hotel-mae, then about 1 minute's walk. About 40 km, some 50 minutes, from Showa-Ogahanto IC on the Akita Expressway. A free shuttle bus runs from JR Oga Station (booking required at least 2 days ahead).
