Wi-Fi is available in every room. All rooms are non-smoking, with a smoking room on the first floor.

Is there a pick-up service from Isozaki Station?
There is a free pick-up (about 3 minutes) from Isozaki Station on the JR Joban Line and the Hitachinaka Seaside Railway. Please check with the hotel and book it in advance.

Is there anything for women guests?
For women guests only, coloured yukata are lent out for use during the stay. There is also a shampoo buffet where you can choose from many kinds.
Is there a coffee service?
Every room has a freshly ground coffee service, with a choice of three kinds of Saza Coffee, which began in Hitachinaka City. Guests may also help themselves free in the lobby between 15:00 and 10:00 the next morning (except during the night).

Where does the name come from?
The name comes from the Cretaceous strata designated a Natural Monument of Ibaraki Prefecture, about 5 minutes from the hotel by car. Looking at the strata before you leave is worth doing.

There is a natural hot spring open-air bath with a sweeping view of the Pacific. The water is silky and clings to the skin, and is expected to help with fatigue and the complexion. It is popular with guests of all ages.

About 7 minutes by car from Hitachi Kaihin Koen IC, convenient for a stay timed for the nemophila or kochia season.

What is dinner like?
A Japanese kaiseki course prepared with care by the head chef, running from appetisers through sashimi, a hot dish, the main course (Hitachi beef and Bimei pork), rice, pickles and dessert. Hot dishes are served hot and cold dishes cold. Extra dishes such as simmered local fish, grilled turban shell, grilled clams and Hitachi beef steak can also be ordered (at least a week in advance).
What is breakfast like?
A Japanese and Western buffet with healthy dishes built on local produce, including the Cretaceous speciality nebaneba rice bowl, miso soup with Hinuma Yamato clams, and thick omelette made with Okukuji eggs.
