How do I get from the nearest station?
From JR Sanyo Main Line Shimonoseki Station, take a bus (bound for Chofu Station) for approximately 20 minutes, get off at Bijutsukan-mae bus stop, then walk for approximately 10 minutes. By car, take the Chugoku Expressway to Shimonoseki IC and follow National Route 9 for approximately 5 km (approximately 10 minutes). From JR Shin-Shimonoseki Station, it is approximately 20 minutes by car.

All rooms have ocean views—what is the scenery like?
All 32 rooms face the Kanmon Strait with ocean views. During the day you can enjoy passing ships, at night the lights of ships illuminating the strait, and in the morning the sunrise gleaming on the sea. The same spectacular views can be enjoyed from your room's indoor hot spring view bath.

We do not have a public bath. All guest rooms are equipped with private baths supplied with natural hot spring water. Please enjoy bathing in your room's view bath while taking in the views of the Kanmon Strait.

Convenient access to major Shimonoseki attractions including Chōfu Castle Town and Kōzan-ji Temple, Karato Market, Kaikyo Yume Tower, and Akama Shrine. Views of the Kanmon Strait at night can be enjoyed from guest rooms.

What is the meal content?
We specialise in dishes made with tiger blowfish sourced from Shimonoseki Nanpudai Market, which boasts the highest volume of blowfish handling in Japan. You can enjoy seasonal kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) "Shimonoseki Mankansen-seki", limited-period wild tiger blowfish full courses, and seasonal kaiseki cuisine using seasonal ingredients. Both dinner and breakfast are served in the restaurant.
